The Gymnast and the Baseball Player

I know, it sounds like the name of a children's book, right?  "The Gymnast and the Baseball Player".  But no, it's just another story in this wonderful thing called life!  The past year, Hannah as taken gymnastics and she got to be in first recital.  She did such a GREAT job.  At each class she really listened and focused on how to do all the different things.  At home, she was always practicing a cartwheel or bridge or whatever else she learned that week.

Mr. Josiah was so excited to play baseball again this year and he did REALLY WELL.  You could tell he was another year older because he was into playing the game more than playing in the dirt this time around.  He played all different positions but says that his favorite was playing first base.

All the kids walked around the gym and completed the obstacle course 2 times each.  This was Hannah right at the beginning ready to go but always made sure she new where the camera was!

 The little tumbler.

Our future Olympian!  Seriously, look at this girl.  Do you think she loves the attention or what???

Hannah was SO excited that Nonna and Pappy could be at the big event.  Nonna brought her flowers and was not letting go of that trophy!

Josiah is pretty awesome at batting if I do say so myself.

 Happy to be playing!

So proud of his trophy...

Life has been busy and summer has gotten off to a good start.  The kids are so glad to be on a break from school and have some more free time to themselves.  We had an awesome visit with Grandma and Grandpa Libby last week.  It was so great to see them and the kids loved that they would be here each morning when they got up.  It was a wonderful visit and we look forward to seeing them again.  The kids want them to come again in the fall so they can watch their soccer and football games!
Tomorrow we head on vacation to Cape Cod with my family.  We are all looking forward to a relaxing week at the beach and just hanging out with each without any schedule or agenda.
