How Sweet It Is...

...to love this little sugar and spice!  I can't believe it but little Miss Hannah turned 5 a couple of weeks ago.  And she wanted to have a "candy party".  Anyone who knows Hannah well knows that the girl LOVES candy.  I know every child loves candy but I am telling you, she LOVES candy.  (I may have or have not caught her sneaking chocolate chips one time and while she is looking me in the face with a mouthful, she clearly states that she doesn't know what is in her mouth or how it got there! - actually she mumbled all that.)

Sooooo, we went with a candy/candyland party.  It was a fun one because all the kids got involved to plan and decorate and of course help eat the party favors!!!  Auntie Wendy took some amazing pictures as you can see and Auntie Lauren made a FABULOUS cake as usual.
ENJOY!

We had a candy bar for the girls' favors.  And yes, those are toothbrushes on the end for their
"sweet tooth".

The kids helped paint the lollipops for the driveway.

Auntie Lauren included every. single. detail. from the Candy Land board.  It was amazing!

They had to find the gummi bears in the "molasses mud"...FUN AND YUMMY!
 The Peppermint Toss

Before we let the candy bar open, we gave each of the girls a bag with Psalm 119:103
"Your promises are sweet to me,
sweeter than honey in my mouth!"
We wanted to remind the girls that the promises God gives to us are just that...promises and they taste so good to our lives.

 The candy bar is OPEN!

 A focused little birthday gal.

Our little sweetie certainly enjoyed her day!
