Here We Are...

I know, I know, you are all asking, "Gee, I wonder if she blogs anymore. Has she fallen off the face of the earth??" This is the longest I have ever gone and not posted. I apologize...I know you all hang on the edge of your seat just waiting for my posts (haha!!). You would think now that my sister's wedding is over and summer is coming that I would have all this time on my hands and should have no problem posting...not so much. I was even trying to think, "what on earth has kept me from posting a blog? What have we been so busy with?" And then I remembered...LIFE! So I have just posted tons of pictures to let you know what we have been up to. Here goes...the Libby's last month or so in a nutshell! (SIDE NOTE: I tried posting a week ago and had everything all set and done and it wouldn't post!!! So I did try but was too frustrated to give a shot again until now...just for the record!!)

The new bride and groom ...Mr. and Mrs. Favini
The wedding was absolutely beautiful. The whole day was perfect. The ceremony was annointed, the reception was a blast and the bride looked amazing. I still can't fathom the fact that my baby sister is a married woman but it should sink in soon. Eric and Donna are so happy to have started their life together...finally! I am still working on getting some pictures but here is what I have for now.

I can't even stand how cute these guys looked for the wedding. Caleb was happy as a clam because he knew there was cake somewhere in this deal. I have no idea why Josiah is making this face. Probably one of his superhero faces that comes out more and more now. And Hannah? Well, she just got finished throwing a complete full-blown tantrum on the floor but here she is, not crying...for a minute!

Here is the Libby family just before walking down the aisle and yes, Hannah threw another lovely tantrum right outside the church in the hallway for all to hear I'm sure! It was so naptime by then!!!

This kid was on a mission. This picture doesn't do it justice but he took his job of walking down that pillow very seriously. Everyone always tells me he is such a little man and he really was that day in his little suit and all.

And after the ring bearer, the big boys brought in the flower girls. It was absolutely adorable. They came into the newer version of "Somewhere over the Rainbow". They did awesome and of course were a big hit with the guests.

It was a beautiful for all of us to be a part of the wedding and watch our baby sister get married. There were many of moments of happy tears. I was just so happy to watch her take this step with Eric.

My grandparents at 95 and 96 years old. They have been in and out of the hospital over the last couple of months so I couldn't have been happier that they were here on Donna's special day. It brought tears to my eyes and I watched them watched their youngest grandchild get married.

Donna gave the kids their own table...they loved it and it was so cute!

Daddy, mommy and our Hannah girl! She is of course too busy with what's in front of her to look at the camera...she just can't be bothered with it these days...her personality is REALLY coming out!

This cracked me up. Donna and Eric had a baseball themed wedding and for the favor they had these popcorn containers filled with peanuts and cracker jacks but the boys thought it would be fun stack them in the middle of the dance floor so here is Caleb making a tower. They are so good at making their own fun!

This picture puts a smile on my face because I have a very similar one of Caleb from Lauren's wedding. These days just wipe them out. Too much dancing for Siah man I guess!

After the wedding was all said and done, I got a chance to go on a girls weekend to Martha's Vineyard. I did this trip last year but took Hannah. This year, no kids...just me, some books, some fun girlfriends, stamping and SLEEP! It was a refreshing time and I am grateful to Dave for making it possible and staying home with the kids.

I am so not a technology girl and don't have an interest in the latest gadgets. But my friend had an ipod touch (which I have never even touched before) and there was this silly toilet paper game on it. You have get the best time of unrolling the roll of toilet paper. I quickly became obsessed with the game but seriously, is this why people get these things? I barely have time to check in on Facebook, nevermind time for another gadget!

Ok, I don't consider myself very "earthy, crunchy" but since I do only work part-time to stay home with our kids, I feel it is my responsibility to try and save money for our family wherever I can. So here is Josiah helping mommy laundry detergent! It is super-duper easy and much less expensive than buying it. Our clothes are just as clean and they smell great too!

I have been wanting to tour Stonyfield Farm in Londonderry for quite some time since our kids love their yogurt so we finally went. They don't do the walk-thru tours anymore but they show a video and then let you try all kinds of sample of yogurt. The kids of course like the squeezable yogurts the best...what is it about those things?!?! I do not like the idea of eating yogurt from a tube but they seem to love it!

I have been wanting to go hiking more and friends of ours recently inspired us because they go often with their 3 kids and said they really enjoy the time together. So after our visit to Stonyfield, we went for a hike and had lots of fun. I was so excited to use this fun carrier a friend had given us. Once Hannah figured out that she would be on top of the world, she loved it but she hated getting in it! We didn't hike too long because we were in and out of rain but the kids had lots of fun and I am really hoping to do more of this as a family.

Picture perfect I think...

Josiah loves Hannah so much. They are really close and get along well. He just takes initiative to take care of her and was taking the time to walk with her on our hike.

And then he's off with his big brother! I just love taking these kinds of pictures of my kids. Just kids being kids...

This consumed much of my time over the last couple of weeks. I made these pizza party invitations for a friend of mine.

This is what you see when you open up the box and the invitation is on the back of the pizza. I think they came out adorable if I do say so myself!!!

The next house project was supposed to be super easy. Our bedroom...Step 1: take down wallpaper. Step 2: Paint. Step 3: replace bedding set and re-decorate. As you can see, it did not go according to plan. Once Dave started taking the wallpaper, the walls were a mess! Nothing he did, just the way our house goes! So now he is tearing down the walls and putting up new ones. But it is a blessing in disguise because he has found some things with our electrical work that wasn't right and could have been dangerous. God knew what he was doing when he inspired to just take all the walls down I guess!

This weekend we got a chance to go on a couples retreat with our church. It was a refreshing time to learn more about one another and God's plan for our marriage.

And yes, there was fun of course! These are our good friends as Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. They definitely deserved the prize they won! She even made angry eyes...and used them when she needed to!!! Dave and I, yeah, we just went as 2 tired parents who simply wanted to be themselves for the night...

My favorite game show is Family Feud and this is the closest I'll get I think. We even made it to the fast money round and came in second place! It was a fun time!

So, there you have it...for now. I will post more much sooner than last time, I PROMISE! The summer weather is here and the kids have been outside much more and playing in the sprinkler and pool and keeping busy so I will be sure to pass that all onto you. Have a great week everyone!
