Quiet on the Home Front

Hello from the Libby Family! It hasn't been too much of an eventful week in the Libby household...that's a good sign, right? The boys of course are keeping us busy each day and they are interacting more and more with one another. Caleb feels the need to tell Josiah "NO!" (quite loudly, I might add) when he is doing something he shouldn't and Josiah feels the need to scream and cry back at Caleb...ahhh...brotherly love.
I have actually been getting more tech savvy this week. I have learned to post items on ebay and have learned a few more tips and tricks with pictures which is good because I am gearing up for a big weekend next weekend...no, not the superbowl (although that's exciting!). I am going on my first scrapbook weekend! I am more than excited and hope to get a lot of scrapping done! 48 hours of scrapping with no interruptions. That's right, my wonderful husband will be with the kids so I can do this. Yes, I have thanked him more than once already and I haven't even left yet. As you can see, Caleb really enjoys looking at the pictures which keeps me motivated to keep scrapping because I know my kids will appreciate it someday!
Have a great week everybody and I will let you know how the weekend is...for me and Dave!

Fish, Fish, Everywhere

This is Auntie Lauren trying to get Caleb to hold a starfish...
he wasn't having any part of that!

Ok, I'm still not completely sure why I can't make some pictures bigger
but trust me, this is Josiah checking out the jellyfish with daddy.

Today we took the kids to the aquarium with some family and some friends of ours. Caleb loved seeing all the different fish and running from tank to tank with his friend. Josiah took it all in from the stroller. I think Caleb's favorite was the penguin. I believe he mentioned something about wanting to kiss a penguin! It is just amazing how you don't get excited for you anymore when you have kids...I was so excited to see Caleb and Josiah's faces when they saw all the fun creatures. We had a great day as a family and I'm sure we will be back!

A Long Time Coming

The laying of the first tile by Uncle Tim.

Dave hard at work grouting.

Ahhhh...the finished product.

And of course, a big thank you dinner to Tim and Lauren for their work and time.

After 6 months of living with plywood in our kitchen, we finally have a kitchen floor! Many of you know that this is quite exciting for us. Dave and Tim (my brother-in-law) put it in over the weekend and as you can see, it's looks GREAT! We had a fun weekend since Tim and Lauren basically lived with us. The kids were great through the whole thing. Caleb is excited he can walk in his kitchen again and I'm not sure what Josiah thinks...there hasn't been a kitchen floor in our house more than half his life! We are really happy with the results and are now just working to put our house back together...although the refrigerator in the living room wasn't a bad set-up!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year Everyone!
We made it through the New Year's holiday without any sickness (thank you Lord!). We spent the evening with some friends playing games and watching movies. Amazingly, between all the couples, we got all 5 kids to sleep so we could hang out. It was fun and relaxing. Here are a couple of pictures. I personally think they are the cutest little boys in the world! They all got matching outfits from Nonna on Christmas. Grandma Libby gave Caleb and Josiah matching outfits too and they were just too cute not to share! The boys are doing well. Though Josiah is not crawling yet, he is certainly mobile. He gets from one end of the room to the other. He sort of puts on leg under him and scoots along with his other leg and arm. It's quite adorable! He is much less frustrated since he figured this little maneuver out. Caleb is talking up a storm! From morning until night, he just has so much to say. His new word this week was "hangaburga" (aka hamburger). They are just too cute! So enjoy the pictures and have a GREAT week!!!!
